At Madhurya, several critical site-level challenges were addressed through a sensitive and environmentally conscious approach.
A 2-meter level difference at the entrance was resolved through careful grading strategies. The soft edge of an existing irrigation canal was stabilized using bioengineering methods to ensure long-term resilience and prevent site impact.
The Parks and Open Spaces (POS) lacked a clear design intent, and the masterplan required revision and authentication. Discrepancies between various surveys—revenue, topographic, and visual—had led to misalignment and a compromise of designated open spaces. These mismatches were rectified, enabling the accurate carving of public open spaces.
Constructed bioswales were introduced along the internal roads to manage stormwater naturally, while also supporting native planting as per the client’s preference. Streetscapes were designed to reflect a minimalist yet ecologically sensitive aesthetic, enhancing the livability of the development.
As a result, a meaningful open space was created—one that adds vitality, integrates essential amenities, and supports a resilient ecological system for the residents.
