At Buildiko, the narrow 6-meter street width presented a unique design challenge—ensuring pedestrian safety while maintaining vehicular movement. A woonerf-inspired streetscape was adopted, where the street was treated as a shared, slow-speed zone. Tactile paving patterns were introduced to visually and physically cue reduced speed, fostering a safer and more inclusive environment.

The central driveway was transformed using grass pavers, turning it into a green, permeable surface that seamlessly connected the two parks flanking either side of the road. This integration not only enhanced aesthetics but also contributed to environmental sustainability.

A diverse range of amenities—such as a kitchen garden, amphitheater, gazebos, children’s play zones, calisthenics area, reflexology path, and skating rink—were strategically incorporated to cater to all age groups. The landscape was thus crafted to promote wellness, interaction, and community living within a compact yet vibrant setting.
